Carlisle man tries to flush crack cocaine down toilet after locking out officers: police

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A man is facing charges after allegedly trying to flush crack cocaine down the toilet as police served a search warrant at his Carlisle home.

Police said Sylvester Anderson III, 40, tried to lock officers out of the Fairground Avenue home when they arrived Friday to execute a drug-related search warrant.

The Carlisle Police Department said officers forced entry into the residence and found that Anderson had tried to flush “an amount of crack cocaine consistent with drug sales” down the toilet…
