MERCED COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – An Atwater man was arrested for a shooting in Winton back in January, deputies said.
Deputies said they arrested 42-year-old Jose Miguel Martinez-Zarate at the Town and Country Motel in Livingston.
He was taken into custody on Monday without incident.
On Jan. 14, deputies responded to reports of a shooting in the 6900 block of Winton Way. Upon arrival, deputies located a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
