WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — Two Woonsocket students are facing charges after a fight at the high school Tuesday morning.
Police Chief Thomas Oates told 12 News that a 14-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy were charged after allegedly assaulting a 15-year-old girl.
“The fight was broken up upon by the responding officer,” Oates said in an email. “During the course of breaking up the fight, the police officer was punched in the face by the 14-year-old female who was an aggressor in the disturbance.”
