Southern California will get some relief from recent warm temperatures as it prepares for an incoming storm that’s expected to hit starting late Tuesday through Wednesday.
Rainfall totals will be a bit higher than initially predicted, with an average of up to 1 inch likely in the region and up to 2.5 inches in higher terrain and north of Ventura County, according to the National Weather Service in a post about the area’s forecast.
“The storm system (is) not necessarily expected to be a huge rainmaker,” says KTLA weather anchor Kirk Hawkins. “We’re talking about 1-2 inches at the absolute most by the time we get to Thursday.”…
