GATES, N.Y. — The Gates Fire District says a primary power line fell across Buffalo Road in Gates Tuesday afternoon.
RG&E says a new transmission structure was being installed, but the cause is still being investigated. Part of Buffalo Road was closed for a bit, but has since reopened. The power line has also been removed from the roadway.
