San Francisco police officers arrested a 36-year-old man for allegedly tossing a lit Molotov cocktail into the street at a busy Mission District intersection over the weekend, the department said Tuesday.
Officers saw a man in a vehicle throw the incendiary device, a wine bottle with an ignited wick, shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday near 16th and Mission streets, according to the San Francisco Police Department. No injuries were reported.
