BALDWINSVILLE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A teacher at Baldwinsville’s C.W. Baker High School was placed on paid administrative leave, prompting a packed school board meeting, strong reactions from students and community members, and a student-led petition calling for the teacher’s return.
The situation came into focus Monday night during a regularly scheduled Board of Education meeting, where students, parents, and residents filled the room and spoke during the public comment portion. Many students said they were confused by the teacher’s sudden absence and frustrated by the lack of information.
