N.J. woman assaulted autistic person with stun gun, cops say

A woman has been arrested on allegations that she used a stun gun to assault an autistic person.

The 62-year-old woman, of Clayton, is charged with the third-degree crimes of aggravated assault, endangering a person with a developmental disability and possession of a weapon for an unlawful, the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement on Tuesday. She was released on a summons following her arrest on Thursday.

The victim, an adult who is diagnosed with autism, told individuals at school that they had been stabbed with a stun gun inside their home on Jan. 30. When police spoke to the victim, they noticed marks on the rear of their left shoulder, authorities said…
