Roswell council cancels contract with Seer World

ROSWELL, Ga. — The Roswell City Council voted unanimously Feb. 9 to terminate its contract with economic development consulting firm Seer World.

During its close to two years with the city, Seer World created and outsourced the role of Roswell’s chief operational officer, providing an annual salary of $340,000. It also secured funding to lay plans for major economic initiatives.

The three-year contract with the consulting company was signed in 2024 and sparked controversy among constituents who questioned the cost and the method about which the agreement came about.
