SYLVAN TWP., MI — Washtenaw County road officials are trying to make a case for why dozens of trees need to be removed for a planned road reconstruction west of Ann Arbor.
Some residents have been pushing back against a two-part road improvement project on Werkner Road, between M-52 and Sibley Road in Sylvan Township. More than 1,700 people have signed a petition to save trees on the road, which is located just outside Chelsea.
