Jackson, MS – Dense fog is creating hazardous travel conditions across parts of central and southeastern Mississippi this morning, with visibility reduced to as little as one-quarter mile in some locations.
According to the National Weather Service in Jackson, dense fog will remain a concern through at least 9 a.m., primarily impacting southeastern portions of the state. The highest risk areas are classified as Elevated (Level 2), where widespread fog with visibility at or below one-quarter mile is likely.
