Suspect in child’s New Year’s Eve shooting changes plea

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – One of the suspects involved in the shooting of a child on New Year’s Eve night in 2024 has pleaded no contest.

Aaron Wallace, now 21, is charged with accessory to a felony assault. A charge of tampering with evidence was dismissed.

He faces up to 3 years in prison and/or up to a $10,000 fine. He is scheduled for sentencing May 11…
