Gedi Murauskas, a former assistant professor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, feels pride when she sings alongside her peers in the River City Mixed Chorus. The River City Mixed Chorus is an Omaha-based LGBTQIA+ chorus. They do many concerts and events throughout the year.
Murauskas was a visiting assistant professor in the UNO Geography-Geology Department from 1990-1992. After her position at UNO ended, she decided to stay in Omaha.
