HAZELWOOD, Mo. — Community Wholesale Tire Dis. Inc. plans to permanently close two Hazelwood facilities and lay off about 143 employees in April, according to a notice filed with the state of Missouri.
The company expects to conduct a mass layoff at sites at 9124 Pershall Road and 6034 Aviator Drive, with the first and only separation date anticipated for April 10, according to the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification, or WARN, letter dated Feb. 9.
