EUGENE, Ore. – A residential high-rise fire on Patterson Street prompted a swift response from Eugene Springfield Fire on Tuesday morning, according to Eugene Springfield Fire officials.
ESF officials said crews were dispatched at 10:36 a.m. on Feb. 10 after a fire alarm was reported on the fifth floor of the building. Engine 13 arrived to find a sprinkler-controlled fire in an apartment. The alarm was quickly upgraded, bringing additional engines and a truck to the scene.
