Park Heights Reels As Police ID Victims In North Baltimore Double Killing

North Baltimore woke up to tragedy last Wednesday, as police identified the two people killed in a double shooting on Edgecombe Circle North: 36-year-old Tiera Alexander and 42-year-old Joseph Osborne. Officers found both victims with gunshot wounds on the 2600 block of Edgecombe Circle North shortly before 9 a.m., and they were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Baltimore Police Department released the victims’ names, according to Baltimore Witness, which reported that detectives are still working the case and notifying next of kin.

Officers were called to the block at about 8:48 a.m., where they found an adult man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds; both were pronounced dead on scene, per local reporting. CBS Baltimore notes that homicide detectives have taken over the investigation and are urging anyone with information to contact police or Metro Crime Stoppers.

Investigators Seek Witnesses and Video

Homicide detectives from the Northern District are canvassing the Park Heights neighborhood, knocking on doors and looking for anyone who might have seen or heard something. They are also reviewing available surveillance and cellphone footage in hopes of piecing together what happened.
