STEUBENVILLE, Ohio — A Cleveland man has been sentenced to up to 16½ years in prison after pleading guilty to cocaine possession and failing to comply with a police officer.
James Lester Blackwell, 47, was sentenced by Jefferson County Common Pleas Judge Joseph J. Bruzzese Jr. to a prison term of 11 to 16 1/2 years, according to the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
Blackwell pleaded guilty to possessing a large quantity of cocaine and failing to comply with the orders or signals of a police officer. He also was ordered to forfeit a 2020 Chevrolet Traverse he was driving at the time of the offenses…
