Evansville community to ‘Wear Orange’ Tuesday for teen dating violence awareness

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Local advocates and residents are encouraged to wear orange on Tuesday, Feb. 10, as part of a national effort to raise awareness for Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month.

“Wear Orange Day” serves as a visual commitment to promoting healthy relationships and supporting survivors of abuse. This year’s national theme, “Real Love Respects,” focuses on the core truth that respect is non-negotiable in any partnership.
