Roanoke’s Night to Shine prom celebrates those with disabilities

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Friday, Feb. 13 marks the tenth annual Night to Shine Roanoke prom experience for individuals with disabilities at Fellowship Community Church in Salem.

The night is dedicated to individuals with a disability who are 14 years and older.

Guests can expect hair, nails, make-up, shoeshines, dinner, limo rides, dancing and more.

“Night to Shine is a global prom event for folks with disabilities ages 14 and up. I say global because it literally happens all across the world on the same night. It is out tenth year in Roanoke, and we are super excited to hit this milestone,” says Diane Lane-Morris from Night to Shine’s planning team…
