CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) – The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden has promoted a longtime executive to its C-suite, in a role previously held by its new director.
Mark Fisher in January was named chief operating officer of the Cincinnati Zoo. A 20-year veteran of the zoo, he most recently served as vice president of facilities, planning and sustainability, a role in which he was responsible for the planning, design and construction of the institution’s largest capital projects, including the $60 million Elephant Trek, $13.3 million Bear Ridge and the zoo’s solar arrays.
