ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – A special bench at the Discovery Center pays tribute to the life of an 11-year-old Rockford girl whose story inspired calls for more awareness about bullying and youth mental health.
The Musical Bench is part of the museum’s Melody in Motion exhibit gallery. When two people sit on the bench and touch their hands together, their bodies act as a circuit, making music.
