BOISE, Idaho — In an effort to promote health and safety in Boise’s community during American Heart Month, the Boise Fire Department is offering free, hands-only Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training.
Boise Fire will host the free training on Saturday, Feb. 21, at 9:00-11:00 a.m. at its fire training facility at 12142 Joplin Rd.
“Cardiac emergencies can happen anywhere, at any time, and often the first person on scene is a bystander,” Boise Fire said in a news release. “Learning CPR empowers individuals to act during an emergency because doing so can make a difference before first responders arrive.”…
