Oro Valley and Marana have entered a formal agreement intended to establish the communities as “a premier cycling destination,” luring bicycle enthusiasts from around the world to compete, train … or simply pedal.
Last week, governing boards in each town approved five-year intergovernmental agreements establishing “a regional partnership to plan and produce cycling initiatives that support tourism and economic activity,” a joint press release from the two towns said.
