D.C. residents with disabilities say the latest snow storm has been especially tough

After almost 10 minutes of trying, Olivia Norman still hasn’t been able to cross Connecticut Avenue in Northwest D.C..

“Usually I would just be able to find the curb,” Norman says. “But because there’s mountains of ice, I can’t find the path here.”

Norman is blind. She also has asthma, which makes the freezing temperatures especially difficult to bear…
