SARASOTA, Fla. (SNN TV) – A drive-in burger joint had been around since 1957, but it closed in the spring of 2024. Now, the Sarasota icon is reopening under new ownership.
It’s back, baby! Hob Nob will be reopening after a 2-year hiatus. Troy King is partnering with his stepson, Dimitri Syros, and their team to bring back this Suncoast staple.
“So my family owns a breakfast company, and my wife and I, my stepson, and other family members,” said Troy King, the leader of the new ownership team. “And when this opportunity came up, obviously being in the business, building out all of our restaurants and watching them run day to day, I talked to Dimitri and we figured this would be a good project to go into together and open this back up.”…
