Ten Columbus men receive prison terms after wiretaps expose drug network

WASHINGTON (WTVM) – Ten Columbus men have been sentenced to federal prison for drug trafficking operations in the city.

Their sentencing stems from a multi-agency investigation that ended in 2024 called ‘Operation Sweet Silence,’ where more than 100 people were arrested. Also, law enforcement recovered firearms, multiple pounds of methamphetamine, cocaine, 232 pounds of marijuana, and $29,000 in cash.

The United States Department of Justice released the men’s sentences on Feb. 10. Here are the ten defendants:

  • Tommie Mullins Jr., aka “TJ,” “Bo,” and “Mini,” 31
  • Sentenced to 20 years in prison on Feb. 10, 2026
  • Trenton Clemons, 49
  • Sentenced to 25 years in prison on Oct. 7, 2025
  • Anthony Champion, 46
  • Sentenced to seven years and three months in prison on Aug. 6, 2025
  • Corey Turner, aka“Lito Red,” 33
  • Sentenced to 20 years in prison on Oct. 7, 2025
  • Adrian Palmer, aka “AP,” 25,
  • Sentenced to 14 years in prison on Oct. 7, 2025
  • Trenton Thomas, aka “Bubble,” 25
  • Sentenced to 11 years and three months in prison on Oct. 7, 2025
  • Javonta Paden, 25
  • Sentenced to five years and 11 months in prison on Aug. 6, 2025
  • Christopher Hill, 36
  • Sentenced to two years in prison on Dec. 17, 2025
  • Adrian Pleasants, 30
  • Sentenced to one year and eight months in prison on Aug. 6, 2025
  • Darius Jenkins, 24
  • Sentenced to one year and six months in prison on Oct. 7, 2025

According to public documents and statements in courts, Mullins was the leader of the drug organization and a part of the Zohannon street gang. Officials state the investigation revealed drugs were dealt out of Mullin’s Cove Circle residence in Columbus.

In 2025, authorities said that the 31-year-old confessed to leading the drug trafficking group and agreed to serve 20 years under a binding plea agreement…
