DUNNELLON, Fla. (WCJB)- CSX has been handed a ruling from a magistrate judge requiring the company to remove railroad ties from Dunnellon within two days or face fines.
Magistrate Audrie Hoehn ruled Tuesday that CSX is in violation of an order to remove all railroad ties in the area near the Blue Cove and Chatmire communities in Dunnellon. The ties had sat dormant in the woods along U.S. 41 for months before going up in flames at the beginning of February.
