A Wildwood woman and her Ocala cohort were arrested Friday for the theft of two Yamaha side-by-sides and some Milwaukee tools.
A deputy responded to a theft, later found to involve 30-year-old Elizabeth Ann Anklam and 27-year-old Christopher Ryan Holmes, in Sumterville on Jan. 26, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
The female complainant advised that two red Yamaha U-Max side-by-sides had been stolen from a storage shed on the property. The last time anyone had seen them was on Jan. 23 at about 9:30 a.m. But at 8:30 a.m. that day, she was told by a maintenance worker that the side-by-sides were missing, the report said.
Serial numbers for the side-by-sides were then given to the deputy who entered them as stolen. Each one was valued at $11,685. Additionally, a $200 Milwaukee hammer drill and a $200 Milwaukee drill were reported stolen, bringing the total up to $23,770, the report said…
