Pangaea Bier Cafe, a popular Curtis Park craft beer spot at 2743 Franklin Blvd., is set to close on March 19 after negotiations with its landlord broke down.
Pangaea is owned and run by Rob Archie and his wife Kindra. The landlord is Archie’s father, Lee Archie, alongside his partner Hanju Morrow.
Rob Archie opened Pangaea in 2008. He later went on to partner with Peter Hoey to launch Urban Roots, which became a hospitality empire encompassing fried chicken concept BAWK!, adjacent speakeasy The Roost, Mexican restaurant Ceviceria and most recently the full-service Good Neighbor in Ice Blocks…
