A Montara family is mourning a 16-year-old boy who was killed when he collided with a truck while riding an electric motorcycle over the weekend in Half Moon Bay.
The San Mateo County Coroner’s Office identified the victim in the Feb. 9 crash as Cash Justin Krawetz of Montara. Family members have set up a GoFundMe that has raised more than $14,000 to help support his family during what they described as an “unexpected and tragic accident.”
The crash happened at about 12:15 p.m. on Highway 1 near Terrance Avenue, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities rendered aid to Krawetz and took the teen to a nearby hospital, but he later died from his injuries…
