Feb. 12

  • Coastal Bend Music & Film Industry Symposium: House of Rock will host the annual Coastal Bend Music & Film Industry Symposium, a networking event for local musicians and filmmakers, at 8:30 a.m. Cost: Free. Information: texashouseofrock.com.

  • Galentines at Rockit’s: Grab your girls and get ready for a night of fun and friendship at Rockit’s Whiskey Bar & Saloon at 709 N. Feb. 13

  • Toddler Techno Dance Party: Bring your kids, from babies to 5-year-olds (older siblings are welcome), to La Retama Central Library for a Techno Toddler Dance Party at 805 Comanche St. Enjoy glow sticks, balloons and upbeat music while you dance the morning away.   • Corpus Christi Songwriters Festival: The Corpus Christi Songwriters Festival is an annual three-day celebration of original music, storytelling and the singer-songwriters community in South Texas.   • Feeding People One 2-Step at a Time: The Coastal Bend Food Bank will host a country western dance lesson fundraiser from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Casa Ortiz Event Center, 4411 Gollihar Road, Suite A.   • Gaylentines Party: Join the Coastal Bend Pride Center for an evening of inclusivity at The Hidden Door at 805 S.
