A West Bank woman was sentenced to one year in prison Monday after she pleaded guilty to fatally shooting her brother during a disagreement, according to court records.
Monica Washington, 35, pleaded guilty as charged to manslaughter in the death of 27-year-old Lionel Washington.
Judge Stephen Grefer of the 24th Judicial District Court sentenced Monica Washington to 10 years, suspending all but one year of the prison term, court records said.
