BESSEMER, Ala. (WBRC) – A person is dead after being hit by a vehicle, according to Bessemer Police.
Police say they were called to Interstate-459 northbound at exit 6 around 5:15 a.m. due to a driver hitting a pedestrian.
According to police, the pedestrian walked into the roadway. The driver reportedly stopped and fully cooperated with police.
