Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a collision Tuesday in Alachua County that resulted in the death of a pedestrian.
According to the FHP report, at approximately 12:10 am, a sport utility vehicle driven by a 57-year-old Miami man was traveling south in the center southbound lane of Interstate 75 near the 374-mile marker.
