INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis mother faces criminal charges for trying to treat her child’s severe burns at home instead of taking him to a hospital straight away.
Jasmine Page, 38, is charged with neglect of a dependent resulting in serious bodily injury, a Level 3 felony.

According to court documents, Page brought her 6-year-old son to the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital on Jan. 22, four days after the injuries were reportedly inflicted on the child.
