House Fire in North Memphis Kills One, MFD Responds

I was following updates from the Memphis Fire Department on Monday evening, and I can tell you this was a serious incident. Just after 6:00 PM, a home on Galloway Road in North Memphis caught fire, and the fire crews rushed to the scene immediately.

When I read the official reports, I realized how quickly things escalated. Firefighters didn’t just spray water—they were breaking into the house, searching every corner for anyone inside. Tragically, they found one person who had already lost their life at the scene. I can only imagine how shocking that must have been for the neighbors and everyone involved.
