A 62-year-old Ocala man was arrested on an aggravated battery charge after allegedly breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s bedroom and attacking her with an axe.
On Thursday, February 5, a Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a local residence in reference to a physical altercation. When the deputy arrived on-scene, paramedics were treating a female victim for injuries that included a deep laceration on her forehead, a cut on her left cheek, and a cut above her right elbow, according to the arrest report.
