Tow Truck Turf War? Two Drivers Killed in Philly, Business Owner Now Wanted

Philadelphia police have issued urgent warnings after a violent spree that left two tow truck drivers dead and a third person wounded and have identified the suspect as 27-year-old Najee Williams, a local towing business owner now wanted on multiple serious charges.

Authorities describe Williams as “armed and dangerous” and have appealed to members of the public to come forward with information that could lead to his capture.

The deadly incidents unfolded across Northeast Philadelphia in separate shootings that police believe are connected by an ongoing dispute within the city’s tightly contested towing industry. Officials are investigating possible territorial or business motivations behind the violence but have not confirmed a definitive motive.

Deadly December Shooting Leaves Young Driver Critical

The first shooting occurred on December 22, 2025, on the 4200 block of Torresdale Avenue in the East Frankford section of the city. Police responding to shots fired found 20-year-old David Garcia-Morales inside his Ford F-450 tow truck.
