Storm debris removal at Pierpont Beach Feb 12–20
Starting February 12, the City will remove large storm debris such as tree trunks and branches over 5 inches from Pierpont Beach and Marina Park Beach. The work will continue through February 20 to help prevent damage during future winter storms.
Crews will work from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. Beach access points at San Pedro St, New Bedford Ct, and Martha’s Vineyard Ct will stay open, but visitors should keep a safe distance from equipment. Minor traffic delays may occur near these areas.
