BATON ROUGE, La. (KALB) – The Humane Society of Louisiana (HSL) has announced that 15 horses participating in this year’s Mardi Gras horse adoption program are in need of a loving home.
This year’s program started with a record 28 horses in need of adoption, and HSL said 13 have already found homes thanks to the generosity of their partners and adopters.
With under a week until the end of Mardi Gras, HSL said they are urging the community to step up and provide the safe, permanent homes these 15 horses deserve. They need to be rehomed within a few days of Mardi Gras ending…
