Lincoln Board of Education approves $19.5M bid for new Student Support Facility at Yankee Hill

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The Lincoln Board of Education has approved a $19.5 million bid for the new Student Support Facility at Yankee Hill.

At its Tuesday meeting, the board held a second reading and voted to approve the bid from Scheele-Kayton Construction LLC of Lincoln for $19,569,000.

The 47,000-square-foot facility will be built south of the current Yankee Hill Education Center on West Burnham Street. Construction is scheduled to be completed by July 2027…
