MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Madison traffic officials are reminding drivers of the speed limit on S. Park St. after one person died and two others were hurt in recent crashes.

“It was 2021, we reduced the speed limit by 5 miles an hour on Park St.,” Ali Heinritz, a Madison traffic engineer said. “It’s not a new change but right after this recent fatality, we did go out and flag every other speed limit sign, just reiterating that it is 25 miles per hour.”…
