CONVERSE, Texas — A welfare concern call led Converse police to discover a deceased 22-year-old man inside a residence on Sleepy Lane.
Officers from the Converse Police Department responded to the call on February 11, 2026, at approximately 8:30 a.m., according to a press release from the department. Upon arrival, they found an open window leading into the living room of the home. Inside, they located the deceased male, whose death appears consistent with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, though the investigation is ongoing.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office is on the scene to determine the official cause and manner of death. Authorities have stated there is no indication of an ongoing threat to the public.
