ESPN’s Nicole Briscoe returns home to host 2026 AHL HOF Induction Ceremony

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — ESPN sports anchor Nicole Briscoe hosted the American Hockey League Hall of Fame induction ceremony at the Coronado Theatre in Rockford this afternoon. Briscoe, a Roscoe native, returned to the area to lead the event and share her pride in the community where she grew up.

Briscoe graduated from Hononegah High School and began her professional broadcasting career in Rockford before moving to ESPN.

“It was really fun to get the call because the AHL is also located not far from where I live in Connecticut,” Briscoe said. “So, to be a part of an event that sort of bridges the gap between the two locations is fine. Any time that I can be a part of something that helps put Rockford in the limelight is always something that I feel is important.”…
