DENVER (KDVR) — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run, according to a post on X from the Arvada Police Department.
On Monday, around 6:54 a.m., Arvada officers responded to the area of West 64th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard after reports were made about a man found lying on the road.

Investigators determined that the man was riding a bike when he was hit by a vehicle that then fled the area.
Police confirmed that the suspect vehicle is a red 2005-2010 Volkswagen Jetta or Passat that is missing the plastic VW emblem, which was found on the road, and the front right headlight was out.
