HONOLULU (KHON2) — Multiple crashes on Wednesday evening, Feb. 11, left several drivers in critical condition in the Honolulu area.
Man, 59, dead in Maui’s first traffic fatality of 2026
Around 9:45 p.m., HPD said a 32-year-old man was driving his motorcycle at a high rate of speed eastbound on North Nimitz Highway near Main Street when he rear-ended a 28-year-old man.
Authorities said the motorcyclist was thrown from his vehicle onto the roadway while wearing a helmet. EMS transported him to the hospital in critical condition.
The driver remained at the scene and sustained no injuries in the collision…
