HONOLULU (KHON2) — The second installment of real property taxes for the 2025 to 2026 tax year is due by Friday, Feb. 20, the City and County of Honolulu’s Department of Budget and Fiscal Services said.
All property owners should have received their tax bills, which were mailed out on Jan. 20.

Bills not paid on time will be penalized up to 10-percent, with an additional interest of 12-percent per year.
As a reminder, officials warned, “a postmark now reflects when mail is processed by a Postal Service machine, which may not be the same day it was dropped off or collected.”

Ways to pay
City officials listed how Oahu property owners can pay their tax bills:
- 24/7 online at the Real Property Tax Electronic Payment Site or by calling 1-808-825-6819 to use a credit card or electronic check.
- Monday through Friday from 7:50 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. in-person at the Division of Treasury, which is within Honolulu Hale at 530 S. King Street, Room 115, to use a credit/debit card, cash or check.
- Check the availability of satellite city hall offices’ hours of operation on their website to receive Express Service in-person and use a credit/debit card, cash or check at one of the locations.
