Over the course of a decade, Spencer, a quaint wine shop and restaurant, has become a fixture of the Ann Arbor dining scene. Today, it’s earning national acclaim as one of the best restaurants in the country among 39 establishments named USA Today’s 2026 Restaurants of the Year.
“We just celebrated 10 years,” said co-owner Abby Olitzky, who said she was honored to receive the news that Spencer landed a spot on the list. “We don’t do it for this reason, but when you just keep doing the work you want to do, people take notice in different ways. It feels really lovely.”
