CMPD seize massive cache of drugs, firearms in west Charlotte home after receiving a tip

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A 25-year-old man faces multiple charges after police seized suspected narcotics and stolen firearms from a west Charlotte residence following a community tip.

Daniel Torres was arrested after officers executed a search warrant at a home in the 2000 block of Piedmont Hills Place, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. The investigation began when officers received information that the residence contained a large quantity of suspected drugs.
