OOLTEWAH, Tenn. — Speed limits will soon be reduced on several residential roads in Ooltewah, after a vote this week by Hamilton County Commissioners.
Commissioners approved a resolution amending the county’s master list of roads and speed limits, lowering the posted speed from 30 miles per hour to 20 miles per hour at these roads:
- Savannah Drive,
- Savannah Lane,
- Wolftever Lane, and
- Wolftever Drive.
The measure was introduced following a request from a resident who raised concerns about traffic safety in the area.
